Weekly Photo Review

This is an Ansel Adams photo that i found quite beautiful. The website i found stated that he took multiple different shots on different background settings before finding a piece of driftwood that made the photo look appealing. The lines of driftwood complement the lines on the rose's petals. I think the dark background and shadows of the driftwood make the highlights in the rose really pop. He took 6 different shots of this exact photo with different exposures to get this perfect shot. This photo was taken just before ansel adams decided to explore a career in photography over a music career.
